Accessibility statement
Reviewed September 9, 2026
Salt Services wants Salt CRM to be usable by everyone who works at a Business that relies on it, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced motion. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What is built in
- Semantic landmarks (header, main, navigation, footer) and a logical heading order on every page.
- Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Form fields have programmatic labels; errors are announced next to the field they concern.
- Text and interface colours meet the AA contrast ratio against their backgrounds.
- Animations (the login celebration, transitions) are disabled for people who set "reduce motion" in their operating system.
- Layouts work from 320px wide up, and the inbox is designed to be used on a phone.
- Data tables carry header cells; status is never conveyed by colour alone.
Known limitations
Audio players for call recordings and voicemails rely on the transcript beside them for non-audio access; transcripts are machine-generated and can contain errors. Content that Businesses upload (images in messages, attachments) may lack alternative text. Embedded third-party elements โ Google Calendar authorisation screens, Facebook login โ are governed by those providers' accessibility.
